Daniela Salgado Cofre

Daniela Salgado Cofre avatarDaniela Salgado Cofré ( Chile, 1987) is an Industrial Designer and PhD candidate in the School of Architecture La Cambre Horta. Her research focuses on the friction between craftsmanship, and the aspects concerning design development. She has been awarded the Becas-Chile scolarship by ANID (National Agency of Research and development, Chile). Since 2010 she teaches design and remains assistant professor at the School of Architecture and Design of the Pontifica Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, in Chile. Daniela has a strong background in pedagogical experiences from collective design to territorial research, mainly through the yearly production and participation in Travesías, poetic travels of the School of Architecture and Design- PUCV, through South America. This allowed her to be part of the collective Cuidad Abierta at international art exhibitions, and in the same context, to conduct lectures and sharing experiences on radical pedagogies in the fields of design and architecture.
