the culture of public space

]pyblik[ is a project created in 2007 by the Brussels-Capital Region. The project aims to centralize the know-how and expertise about public space in Brussels.

]pyblik[ focuses on a public of designers and civil servants working on public space in the Brussels Capital Region

]pyblik[ serves as a training centre, an information hub for experts seeking advice and references and also aspires to promote sensitization regarding this topic. Its purpose is to gather information about the design, construction and management of public space and making this information widely available. Structurally, it is situated where the professional, political and academic world meet.

]pyblik[ is a collaboration of the research centers of all 4 architecture schools in Brussels - ULB [La Cambre Horta], KULeuven (campus Sint-Lucas Brussel), VUB & UCL
